In the summer of 2016, Lauren Seikaly and her husband Michael Huber embarked on a new adventure by buying an old abandoned law office in the middle of Main Street in Jeffersonville, NY, their home-away-from-home. They thought they would do their part to help a little town that had fallen on hard times. They would buy the building, paint it pink, and sell some coffee and cookies. Easy peasy!

That little idea grew exponentially and in expected ways over the following seven years. The couple now owns and operates a total of eight businesses on Main Street in Jeffersonville that include 52 & Vine Wine & Spirits, Jeffersonville Bake Shop, Lulu’s Social Club, The Vintage House, Jeff Works Office Solutions, and The Furniture Re Store.

While restoring the buildings that house these businesses, Lauren and Michael have added apartments to an area that desperately lacks affordable living accommodations for local residents and employees.

And their work continues. Additional projects are in the works for 2024 as they aim to bring joy, support, and fulfillment to the little country town of Jeffersonville, NY.
